      Who is qualify as a seller? TOP
      Manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and independent producers of hobbies items are always welcomed to sell products via our WebPages whatever your location and the scale of your business. To maintain our guiding principal, we won't accept duplicate sellers for one item and we also won't allow independent producer to sell non-self-creation items through the platform of Hobbyeasy.

      Hobbyeasy maintains two kinds of sellers: "Seller from Hong Kong" and "Seller from Oversea". Hobbyeasy provides packaging and fulfillment services for "Seller from Hong Kong" while "Seller from Oversea" will need to pack and provide the fulfillment services at their own effort.
       
         
      How Hobbyeasy works for sellers? TOP
      1. Sellers upload their products data to the Hobbyeasy database, specifying information about each item including products information and price.
      2. Buyers purchase products listed on our site via the check out system.
      3. Hobbyeasy sends order summary to specific seller for availability confirmation.
      4. Once the products availability is confirmed, order fulfillment detail will be sent to specific seller.
      5. Hobbyeasy facilitates the credit card transaction, and process these payments on our sellers' behalf. For customers in Mainland China, payment is required to deposit into our Mainland China bank account. We will process the orders immediately once we receive the bank-in advice.
      6. The seller ships the products directly to the buyers and receives their net price after deduction of the 15% Sales commission.
      7. If there is out of stock situation, Hobbyeasy will inform customers by email once products availability restated from the sellers.
      8. Hobbyeasy maintains back-order and advance-order records for customers and ships desired items when they are available based on their instruction.

      1. Hobbyeasy.com and sellers can see themselves as a single virtual organization. There is only cooperation but no competition between Hobbyeasy.com and Sellers.

      Hobbyeasy Fees & Charges TOP
      No monthly subscription fee for foundation sellers, upon a successful sale via the Hobbyeasy shopping basket, a sales commission of 15% is incurred on the total order value for "Seller from Oversea". The maximum sales commission is US$50 per product (all prices are recognized as net value). Note that total order value included shipping charge.

      Sales commission for "Seller from Hong Kong" is around 20% to 30% of the total order value which is prior mutual agreement between Sellers and Hobbyeasy.
       
         
      Credit Card Processing Fee TOP
      Every product can be purchased using VISA/MasterCard. Hobbyeasy will process such payments on behalf of the sellers. The sales Commission have already included credit card processing fee of the total order value is charged per transaction. Sellers no need to bear any credit card processing fee.  
         
      Technology TOP
      Hobbyeasy.com is running under a dedicated server and hosted under the management of Pacific Supernet to ensure smooth web browsing . The platform was chosen specifically for its scalability - its ability to scale up to higher volume as needed. We anticipate continued growth, accelerating for years to come.  
         
      Sellers Identity TOP
      Our Sellers always maintain their identity. This means that where their products appear, the sellers' name appears as well. We respect that our sellers are the lifeblood of this business and help them to keep and develop relationships with the customers.  
         
      Manage your own Shipping policy TOP
      Hobbyeasy provides a shipping matrix function for sellers to manage the shipping cost policy.  
         
      Managing Your Products Availability TOP
      Regular maintenance on Hobbyeasy contributes to a successful selling experience. When product availability is properly maintained, there are fewer misunderstandings between buyers and sellers, a reduced chance of non-fulfilled orders, and fewer rejected orders.  
         
      Vacation Status TOP
      If Sellers are not available to answer inquiries, process orders or ship items for more than two days, Hobbyeasy provides an "Vacation" program that product listing is temporarily removed from the Hobbyeasy Web sites and member information in the "stores" tab indicates that the seller is unavailable to fulfill orders.  
         
      Pricing Policy TOP
      Sellers can maintain their products information and pricing in their local currency. However, all pricing cannot higher than price offer in seller's own website or other direct retail channels.  
         
      Pricing Errors TOP
      All items listed will be available at the price listed on the Hobbyeasy Web sites. We understand that mistakes can happen, and if a modeller should happen to purchase a item with a pricing error, the order should be rejected, and the item re-uploaded with the correct price. Sellers should not contact the buyer directly and offer the item at the new price - this is considered price swapping and may be interpreted as a Code of Conduct offence.  
         
      Taxation TOP
      Due to the complexity of international and e-commerce tax laws, Hobbyeasy does not collect or remit any taxes or duties on behalf of our sellers. Sellers are responsible for the collection and payment of taxes for items sold through our Web sites. Sellers from the European Union countries are required to upload prices including the Value Added Tax (VAT).  
         
      When processing orders, Sellers may request extra charges to cover the cost of taxes, insurance or extra shipping. The buyer has the option to accept or reject the extra charges. If the buyer rejects these charges, the seller has the option to ship the item at the price originally quoted to the buyer, or to reject the order.  
         
      Shipping Orders TOP
      Successful and timely delivery of orders ensures repeat business. We recommend that you process and ship all orders within 48 hours of receipt.  
         
      • Choosing the Appropriate Shipping Method
        Sellers are required to ship items using a method that will deliver the item in the time frame quoted to the buyer. If an order requires extra funds for shipping, the buyer should be contacted directly to arrange for extra shipping.
       
         
      • Ensuring Safe Delivery of Orders
        We recommend that sellers should pack the orders securely to avoid damage. The seller is responsible for the good condition of the item when it is delivered to the buyer. Insuring orders protects the seller should an order fail to arrive, or is damaged in transit. If an order requires insurance, the buyer should be contacted directly to arrange for insurance.
         
           
        Returns Policy TOP
        1. Return Basic
          Hobbyeasy requires Sellers to accept all returns except where the buyer has changed their mind. The price of the item, as well as original and return shipping costs should be returned to the buyer upon receipt of the item.
            Orders may be returned for any of the following reasons:
          • Item not as described
          • Item was damaged
          • Incorrect item delivered
          • Item did not arrive (refund)
          • Buyer changed Mind

          Orders returned with the reason "Buyer Changed Mind" do not require the inclusion of shipping costs in the refund amount. Sellers are not required to accept these Returns, but it is recommended as good customer service, and to ensure buyers will continue to use the Hobbyeasy Web sites and purchase from the individual sellers who list on our sites. Note, laws in certain jurisdictions may require sellers to accept returns regardless of the reason for the return.

          Returns for seller direct orders are subject to the Hobbyeasy Returns policy and the guidelines outlined above. All seller-direct Returns must be processed online to ensure the seller is not charged commission on the refunded sale.

        2. Time Limits for Returns
          Items can be returned for any reason for up to 7 days after the maximum delivery date has passed. Sellers may choose to accept returns outside this time limit. All Returns must be processed via the Hobbyeasy Web sites. Please note that delays associated with international orders may occur due to customs. This may result in late requests from buyers to return items.

        3. Proof of Delivery
          Sellers are responsible for the item until the buyer receives it. Sellers are encouraged to purchase delivery tracking whenever possible.

        4. Dispute Resolution
          All disputes regarding returns are to be handled between the Seller and buyer. Returns should be processed online once a resolution is reached. Hobbyeasy does participate in dispute negotiations, but Sellers must act in accordance with Hobbyeasy Code of Conduct, and within all policies and guidelines, or risk removal from the Hobbyeasy Web sites.

        5. Credit Card Charge-backs
          Any charge-backs received by Hobbyeasy, where Hobbyeasy has processed the Seller's payment, will be debited against a Seller's account.
         
           
        Refund of Sales Commission TOP
        Sales Commission will be refunded for any order that does not result in a sale. This also applies to returns.  
           
        Performance Standard and Code of Conduct TOP
        At Hobbyeasy, we strive to uphold a high level of customer satisfaction and expect our Sellers to do the same. Satisfied customers often purchase again. Hobbyeasy monitors Seller performance in order to ensure customer satisfaction. Hobbyeasy uses order fulfillment percentages, returns rates and the Code of Conduct to outline the expected standards of Seller participation with Hobbyeasy.  
           
        1. Fulfillment
          The minimum standard for fulfillment is 80%. The fulfillment rate is measured by the number of orders shipped divided by the number of orders received. The fulfillment rate is calculated over a rolling 90-day period. On the 15th of each month (or closest business day to the 15th), you are notified of your fulfillment status. Should you fall below 80% in a given month, you are sent an advisory e-mail, which details ways to improve performance.
        2. Returns
          The standard rate for returns is 2%. The calculation for Returns will not include those items where the buyer has changed their mind.
          Sellers who have a significantly high Return rate may be placed on probation or removed from the Hobbyeasy program at our discretion.

        3. Specific Code of Conduction Violations
          • Sellers are not allowed to sell the following items
            • pirating items;
            • damaged or incompleted loosen parts;
            • items/parts in worn out condition;
            • broken outside or inside package or package in worn out condition.
          • No response to order inquiries
          • No shipment of orders within 1 week of processing
          • No response to Hobbyeasy Customer Service staff inquiries
          • Inconsistence pricing - sellers should maintain their pricing and shipping policy consistence between their own website and Hobbyeasy website.
          • Seller acting as an aggregator (sending us data from computerized lists they own or have access to, but do not have in their possession)
          • Redirection of orders in any manner
          • Not offering a refund for incorrectly described items
          • Not processing for returned items
          • Listing stolen or illegal items
          • Abusive to client or Hobbyeasy staff
          • Derogatory language
          • Racial slurs/remarks
          • Inclusion of personal or political commentary that may be considered defamatory in item descriptions
